N2 Million Donation: Nasarawa Lawmaker Hon. Barr. Esson Mairiga Supports Church Auditorium, Community Bridge

The member representing Lafia North constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Esson Mairiga, has donated a total of N2 million to two separate causes in his constituency.

The lawmaker presented N1 million to Nasara Baptist Church Azuba Bashayi, Lafia, to support the construction of its new auditorium. In a separate gesture, he donated another N1 million to the people of Ruwa Wayo and Rafin Kudi to facilitate the construction of a bridge connecting the two communities.

Hon. Mairiga noted that the bridge project would ease movement, improve security, and boost economic activities between the villages, while the church donation underscores his commitment to supporting faith-based institutions that serve the public good.

Constituents and church leaders have thanked the legislator for the timely intervention, describing the donations as a practical response to critical needs in Lafia North.

The Honourable member prays for God to continue to comfort the church of God, his wife, children, aged father, extended family, and friends. He further prayed for the repost of his soul and that of the faithful department with God, AMEN. It will be recalled that Late Dr. Rowland was kidnapped on Wednesday, 16th October 2024, and killed.
