It is with a profound sense of loss and a heavy heart that I join the good people of Nasarawa State and Nigeria at large to mourn the passing of a true icon, an elder statesman, and a distinguished son of the soil, Senator Solomon Ewuga.

Senator Ewuga was not just a politician; he was a repository of wisdom, a bridge-builder, and a steadfast voice for unity and progress. His decades of dedicated service to our state and nation, from his time as a Member of the House of Representatives to his tenure as a Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic, have left an indelible mark on our political landscape. He served with integrity, passion, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of the common man.

As a young man navigating the complexities of public service, I often looked to leaders like Senator Ewuga for guidance. His life was a masterclass in resilience, principle, and patriotic fervor. His passing is not just the loss of a leader but the closing of a significant chapter in our history.

My heartfelt condolences go to his immediate family, whom he loved dearly, the people of his constituency, his political associates, and all who were touched by his grace and wisdom. May the cherished memories of his impactful life bring you comfort during this difficult time.

Amist tears, sympathisers and the Honourable member representing Lafia North Constituency at NSHA and Chairman House Standing Committee on Judiciary, ethics and privilege Hon.Barr Mairiga Esson and his wife were at ERCC Graceland Lafia, to paid last respect for Late Dr. Rowland, whose buried service was conducted for. The Honourable member prays for God to continue to comfort the church of God, his wife, children, aged father, extended family, and friends. He further prayed for the repost of his soul and that of the faithful department with God, AMEN. It will be recalled that Late Dr. Rowland was kidnapped on Wednesday, 16th October 2024, and killed. May God judge those behind this evil act. Before his untimely death, late Dr. Rowland Ayuba akuziji was the MD. RUWASSA Nasarawa State.
