Former DG of National Orientation Agency, Dr. Mike Omeri, Visits Hon. Esson Mairiga to Condole Over the Loss of His Son

Dr. Mike Omeri, the former Director General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), today paid a condolence visit to Hon. Barr. Esson Mairiga, the esteemed member representing Lafia North Constituency, at his residence in Lafia. The visit was to commiserate with the honorable member over the tragic loss of his son, which occurred sometime last year.  

Dr. Omeri, a respected figure in Nigerian public service, was accompanied by prominent members of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), including the PDP Zonal Chairman and the Lafia Local Government PDP Chairman. The delegation’s presence underscored the deep sense of community and shared grief during this difficult time for Hon. Mairiga and his family.  

During the visit, Dr. Omeri expressed his profound condolences, emphasizing the irreplaceable loss of a child and the pain it brings to any family. He urged Hon. Mairiga to take solace in the memories of his son and the legacy he left behind. Amist tears, sympathisers and the Honourable member representing Lafia North Constituency at NSHA and Chairman House Standing Committee on Judiciary, ethics and privilege Hon.Barr Mairiga Esson and his wife were at ERCC Graceland Lafia, to paid last respect for Late Dr. Rowland, whose buried service was conducted for. The Honourable member prays for God to continue to comfort the church of God, his wife, children, aged father, extended family, and friends. He further prayed for the repost of his soul and that of the faithful department with God, AMEN. It will be recalled that Late Dr. Rowland was kidnapped on Wednesday, 16th October 2024, and killed. May God judge those behind this evil act. Before his untimely death, late Dr. Rowland Ayuba akuziji was the MD. RUWASSA Nasarawa State.
