Esson Condoles Asuma Family, Attends Moses' Burial in Assakio

Hon. Barr. Mairiga Esson, member representing Lafia North Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly and Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Judiciary, Ethics, and Privileges, joined mourners earlier today at the burial of the late Moses Asuma in Assakio.
The lawmaker, accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Special Assistant, Personal Assistant, and Confidential Secretary, traveled to the Asuma, Tiv Community at Obi road, Assakio, to pay his respects.
Expressing his condolences, Hon. Esson stated, "On behalf of myself, my family, and indeed the good people of Lafia North Constituency, our prayers and thoughts are with the people of Asuma and the entire Tiv nation over the demise of Moses."
Hon. Esson further highlighted the significant role Moses played in his election as member representing Lafia North in the 2023 election, stating, "Moses played a significant role in my emergence as member representing Lafia North in the 2023 election, and his demise is a heavy loss to me."
Until his passing, Moses served as the Tiv Coordinator for Hon. Barr. Mairiga Esson during the 2023 election.
Hon. Esson concluded by praying, "May Almighty God grant his soul peaceful repose in paradise."

The Honourable member prays for God to continue to comfort the church of God, his wife, children, aged father, extended family, and friends. He further prayed for the repost of his soul and that of the faithful department with God, AMEN. It will be recalled that Late Dr. Rowland was kidnapped on Wednesday, 16th October 2024, and killed.
